GENDER SENSITIZATION CELL
As per the direction of PCI and UGC, MIP constitutes an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) and a special cell to deal with the issues of gender based violence and to conduct gender sensitization programme. The aim of this initiative is to preprest and raise the voice of the students as well as faculty members who may suffer any act of sexual harassment or gender discrimination, to whole interaction with students to create awareness about gender discrimination and remedies availabe to curb it, take preventive step to curb eve-teasing and create a healthy and safe atmosphere in the institute for people of all genders specially women.
As per PCI directive we formed the Gender Sensitization Cell in our campus. The cell comprising of senior faculty representative organizing the programs on gender issues on a regular basis.
We have conducted seminars on gender sensitization for all students, Faculties and staff members and also conducted self defense workshop for all girls.
