COMMITTEE FOR SC/ST
In compliance to AICTE regulation MIP is constituiting to the committee for SC/ST (as per the Schedule Cast and the Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 No. 33 of 1989 dated 11/9/1989 with the following committee members to look after the related matters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The cell is constituted to safeguard the interest of student without any prejudice to the caste, creed, religion, langugage, ethnicity, gender, disability and to element discrimination or harrassment against any student in MIP by providing preventive measures to facilitate punishment for those who indulge in any from of discrimination to promote equality among student.
- The committee will receive complaints from the affected students in terms of discrimination of caste, creed, religion, gender disability etc. and conduct a proper enquiry and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.
- The convener of the committee should conduct meeting once in every two months and send minutes of meeting to the undersigned.
